I just stole items from my liasons inventory by marking them for dumping

That's nothing new. You can steal the weapons and armor of caravan guards, disarm captured goblins and generally do useful (though exploity) stuff this way. But why would anybody want to steal a liasons pants?  ;D

Oh nevermind then. It's special because this liason wore chainmail and wielded a silver short sword.
