Has anyone had workshops made out of ice disappear?

Didn't they do that in the first place?
I have read, that workshops built in warmer environment (caves) melt after a while. Only constructions out of ice are safe (walls, etc)

Yes, that happens, even if they're built in these cozy little rooms that you carve into the ice of a glacier. I don't know if they also melt on the surface of the glacier though.

Just build the workshops out of microcline and the walls out of ice. :)

I actually haven't seen any microcline since 0.31. Plenty of other junk minerals, (including massive blocks of siltstone jamming up my soil stockpile layers >:( ) but none of the Cyan Scourge.
