Where did the map feature option go in init.txt?

Where?!? I can't tell the finder to search for map features anymore :(

You don't have to.  Every map has massive MASSIVE undergound caves, lakes, and magma oceans.  Therefore, if you want magma forges, just start on a map with flux and dig deep.

But not too deep. You will still find the clown car.

So, magma stuff still works the same way? And what about magma men and fire men and imps and whatnot?

This is the same on non-mountainous maps as well?

Yup, same everywhere.  The only difference is what order and what all you'll find underground.

Also, dig very carefully when you find the blue stuff.  If you're not careful, you'll hit a pipe that basically causes you to hit circus about 10 to 15 z-levels early.

Dunno how magma men and imps work, but you're a lot less likely to see them on the surface now.

So, wait, no magma pipes anymore? No surface magma?

There's a thread somewhere in General Discussion where a guy got a 91-Z tall magma pipe, but I think it was on a volcano.  Apparently 2/3 of that pipe was above ground too.  So, I think there are still surface pipes, but only on volcanoes, and the map can still be pretty wonky...
