I realize that 99% of the computer-using humans on this planet use a mouse, and 99% of those mice have scrollwheels.

Thanks to certain physical limitations stemming from rotator cuff problems, I represent that 1% of the computer-using humans on this planet who use a trackball instead of a mouse.  And while many trackballs feature a scrollwheel, many more (including mine) do not.

Games which map functionality to the scrollwheel and ONLY to the scrollwheel are thus frustrating for me, and for those few others who, like myself, use a trackball without a scrollwheel.  If you folks could also map the zoom function to something else (e.g. CTRL-NUMPAD+ and CTRL-NUMPAD-, which are common for this sort of thing), that would be great.
