Needed: pet burial control
« on: September 04, 2006, 04:35:00 pm »

If I build coffins and place them, I want my dead dwarves to have first crack at them.  Not the horses and dogs.  They can rot in refuse if necessary.

Basically, there needs to be an additional control here - "pet ok?" or something like that.

That's a neat idea.
Seeing how I tend to spoil my dwarves I had some light/dark stoned coffins ready just in case only to have them filled up with a couple of mules & a cow that decided to hang out near the waterfall as the river was flooding.
Hello tiny chasms. (This happens a lot to me with animals)

Now I just don't care, and make a buncha plain rock coffins...

Edit: It was a cow not a horse...

I'd also like a control for who can be buried in coffins, especially for pets NOT being buried there.

This sounds like a useful restriction.
