In a mineral/rock layers color tag, which of the three numbers determines its color when smoothed/engraved? (unless it's all 3)

Oh, and another thing. In the wiki, for the tag [DEEP], all it does is redirect to the HFS. I know adamatine has this tag and is centered around the glowing pit, but when used on another mineral does it actually just indicate a minimum depth? What is that minimum?

The color of a rock when it is smoothed is determined by the first and third numbers IIRC. The third is always 0 or 1, which is the brightness of the color, while the first is 0-7, which determines the color itself. The background for smoothed tiles is always black.

Engraved tiles are the same, but the background is invariably light gray.

[DEEP], on minerals, tells the game that it is found around HFS. Nothing more. If there are multiple [DEEP] materials it will choose one at random AFAIK. It does not specify a minimum depth; there is no tag that does so.

On metals, the [DEEP] tag essentially just makes it unusable for civs so that they can't wear it as armor or import it or anything; essentially, it makes it impossible to get "normally" (where smelter reactions are "abnormal" in this sense; even adamantine is attainable only through a custom smelter reaction, albeit one present in vanilla).

[DEEP] also makes dwarves strangely attracted to it. They'll want to use it for artifacts above other options, I think.
