Just a few questions
« on: March 27, 2010, 01:13:07 pm »

Hi all. I'm working on a WWIish with fantasy elements and I'm wondering about few things that will change in the next version.

1. I'm pretty sure I've read something about gas monsters. How will they work?
2. Is there any way of changing the rate of fire other than changing the weight?
3. Will we be able to create monsters/pets in the workshops? How about creating zombie/wild animals?

Answers:
1) For a gas monster all you would have to do would be to set the materials of the layers of tissue to a gas substance. The problem that I heard would be that something like a blade would pass through the creature very easily, severing body parts left and right. Toady did mention something about a bug that could avoid that though he was never to clear.

2) Not that I know of.
3) No.

It would be brutally difficult and probably won't work. In other words, it's absolutely dwarven!
