Giant Eagles
« on: March 27, 2010, 08:05:14 pm »

Stole some giant eagles from the elves a la Flarechannels.  Problem is, I have 3, 2 male and one female and I haven't gotten even one hatchling.  They're fun to watch flying around my big fortified entrance but they don't seem to ever breed, even after about 4 years of having them.

Do you have a Dungeon Master?

Apparently having a redundant creature entry causes the game to say, "Oh, look, it's crazy world now. Nothing makes sense! Alligators live in houses!"

Not yet, I've been working with about 30 dwarves so he hasn't come yet.  Do I need him even if they're tame already?

if they are EXOTIC, tame or wild they need a DM to breed.

I did not know this...

Not that it really matters, I have like 40 Giant Eagles lazing around my fort.

With [SLOW_LEARNER], dwarves probably don't sit around and talk anymore. They just stand in the same corner altogether, staring at each other, sticking their bearded lips out trying to make sounds. And giggling when someone actually says a whole word.
