This is mostly a bloat idea.

The Musician/Entertainer is a noble who appears mid game.  He could help with instrument crafts.  He attends meeting hall parties and improves their quality.  He wants a large office (seems the best way to implement his job.)  Mid or late winter, if food stocks are good, he sends out a call.  Many dwarves cancel their jobs and pick up either "play music" (if they own instruments) or "listen to music" which is sent by the office.  They gather there, have a big party and get a big morale boost.

Sound promising?

Well, I can't imagine a noble would lower himself to become a palty entertainer.  Perhaps as a specialized character, but, it shouldn't technically be a "noble".

Perhaps it could be an added skill, or, more interestingly, once you have a real economy a wandering bard could come by and entertain everyone for a season.  Actor caravans as well.

there are plenty examples of "noble" entertainers. a good real world example would be the griots from west africa.

Dwarves really strike me as the kind of people that would have a strong oral tradition; maybe there could be a Historian noble that recites epic poems like Homer, and helps to ensure that the great deeds and legendary Dwarves reach the "Legends" page?

The Historian could demand paper and inks, then write books and scrolls of Dwarven history which you could sell or store away.  In Adventurer mode, finding these histories would let you add things to your legends menu.
