Wear an Akubra.

i second this. also the cleats, are they the rubbery studs or sharp metal spikes. if the later you should cut the soles off them and tie them to the bottom of your boots.

What is the year?

Bring AN-94 back to camp. Check AN-94 for any markings. Is it in usable condition? Do either of us know how to clean it? Does it have the grenade launcher or the bayonet? Count rounds in the two magazines and in the loaded magazine.

Make sure all plane systems are turned off. Set up emergency beacon if that's not on yet. Try to get radio working.

Tell pilot to stop wandering off on his own.

Does the plane have an emergency kit? Things like flares, water purification tablets, first aid kit, etc?

No way you are drinking from these boots. One of them even had athletes foot. Besides, the river water is already pretty pure.
You wear the Akubra over your cap, and that actually works pretty good.
The year? It's 1997.
The AN-94 is completely usable, and in great condition.
Both magazines are full, and the loaded magazine has 13 shots left.
The cleats have regular rubbery studs.
The Cessna's systems and radios don't work anymore, and the emergency kit seems to be...

Scavenge for something non-flamable, then afterwards, making sure it's a container, fill it up with river water. Make a fire and hold the container over the fire for a good 10-30 minutes. When it's fairly hot, set it down to cool off a bit and cut out of what remaining clothing there is with your machete some gloves. For when we're handling ammo, we don't want lead poisoning now.
