More Zombies?

Is it possible to drastically increase the number of zombified animals, so that around 1/2 are zombies? If so, how? Thanks!

Play on a map with a lot of evil regions and you'll have lots of nice unbutcherable zombies to play with.

Otherwise, no.  It's possible to create modded animals that "act" like zombies, in the sense that they don't need most of their internal organs or whatnot, but you can't actually do anything with the "real" undead units.

How do I know what areas are evil in adventure mode? Is it just purple areas?What are the greeny-blue areas?

Greeny-blue are good areas, purple/black/red areas are nasty.

Also, when selecting a biome, it will describe the location, including the "alignment" of that area:
