Arms - What Weapon Type?
« on: March 10, 2010, 12:43:42 pm »

Ok, so if I want to chop off someone's arm and beat them to death with it, what skill does it use? I assume maces but confirmation would be nice. Thanks!

It uses either hammer or mace skill because I hope that someones arm doesn't have swords or spears for bones.

When I was wielding fallen companions corpses as weapons I got a LOT of pierces for some reason.  Sadly never a stuck in corpse though.

I'm not sure if it gives experience for anything really. If anything then hammerer.

All you have to do is use the arm to beat down a few wolves and see which experience goes up.

It uses wrestling for all improvised weapons, as far as I know.

All improvised weapons either train wrestling or no skill (I'm not entirely sure).  If they use a particular skill, then it's wrestling.  No other skills are used, as all improvised weapons (from a clump of sand to a granite floodgate to a drunkard's corpse) are lumped into the same category.

The only skill I remember training while hitting people with random objects was Armor User, and that's just because I was making an action while wearing armor.

Throwing bolts is wrestling? Wha?

I kid I kid, I know it levels up throwing.
