With that, I suppose it's not that surprising that I came out 89/50/75/100 INTJ on that MBTI, which is reasonably close to what I've seen on more-formal ones. Blah Blah poster child etc. I think that that also makes Pandarsenic my opposite or something like that.

Apples, Apples, Apples.
With a knife.

I've recently discovered an addiction for Apples, it mostly comes down to the fact i'm always hungry and can't stop eating, but, Apples are an excellent filler. Wait till you're real hungry, then eat an apple or two. Use a knife to avoid teeth-seperating skin and many hours of tooth-picking.

Dunno... I'll consider it.  Thanks for the suggestion.
Of course, you're not allowing yourself to eat meat. Speaking of which, have you broken your fast on it yet?
Nope.  Sorry, I have this annoying tendency to stick to my beliefs even when others are trying to pressure me into doing something.  You're going to have to get in line behind the others if you plan to change me.
Which is fine, but I do hope both you and Pandarsenic understand that my question to see if you did something, the day after you said you'd consider doing something, was entirely conversational and not at all 'harassing' in intent or tone.

I should probably have my head checked, because I find myself in complete agreement with Nikov.

Jumping in randomly...

Vegetarian food: Bean dishes are awesome. I particularly recommend Falafel[1] (if you have time) and Harira[2]. I'm not a vegetarian, but I've found myself moving to less meat-intensive dishes for most of the food I cook, since I really don't find it needed. Vegetarian food tends to be fine as long as it's not trying to be meat.

Damn, I need to try some of that falafel.  It's been way too long since I've had any.  Harira, though... I don't know.  I think the only harira I had tasted kind of funkalicious.  It always seems a bit bland.

Since you brought up being an INTJ, Scientific-Man, someone might find this interesting.  It's basically a bunch of engineer-type dudes who went through recipes adjusting ingredients, proportions, styles and so on to max out delicious.

Huh, interesting.  I've been eating larger meals + rice cakes and peanut butter for snacks, and that seems to be working much better (other than the grease and crumbs and so on that get absolutely everywhere).  Unfortunately, I don't have much access to good fresh fruit, but I'll see if the apples at the dining hall are edible and try to finagle a knife somewhere.

Sorry for misinterpreting you, then, doodabuddy.  As far as my mom goes, the current plan is to go for an REU over the summer so I don't have to spend time with her.  She'll be pissed as hell, but she won't be able to do anything when I'm in some other half of the country for 8 weeks ;D  In any case, everything's going to be fine someday.
