It looks like someone can carve out one heck of a fortress off the cliffside. I can see a few design ideas that can be made using the terrain to your advantage. At least for something rather aesthetically pleasing.

So how to you enter the worldgen stuff? I tried to make a new parameters, but the input looked different from the listed information?

In your DF directory, in the data/init subdir, there's a world_gen.txt file. Copy everything from the OP's code block (except the "Generated with..." line) to the end of that file. When you run DF, you'll get another preset option called "VULCAN" in addition to LARGE, SMALL, etc. Generate that, and yo'll get the world.

Odd, the random number generator doesn't know how to generate custom worlds... :P

weird, because all it does is change the seed a little bit.
