Beyond nostalgia, there is "Jaded douchery". I think I pretty much register while in that stage, by this point

This is universally true of people who affect that no-period-on-the-last-sentence thing.

I know that, but wasn't there some epic dwarf in one of those stories or Lets Plays named Tholtig? I can't remember...

Yeah there was.
My favorite dwarf in DeathQuest was named Tholtig.
But I'm sure no one knows that.
She was born and actually GREW UP, like became an adult that can do things.  Awesome.

That's this Tholtig. Most recorded kills for a dwarf, as far as I'm aware.
