Bridge unable to be connected to Leverl Raises /\ (up, north, w)

is there a limit on the size of a bridge that can raise up?  I'm reclaiming a fort and after reclaiming (unforbid) everything on the map,  I can't hook my bridge lever to the new bridge (Old bridge got destroyed in a tantrum spiral)

All bridges can raise and retract no matter how big. It is probably one of the reclaim glitches like after reclaiming several times magma smelters and forges cant be built anymore.

First reclaim, but that sucks if it's a reclaim bug.

Well, lucky you that it isn't a reclaim bug. Get rid of 40d17 and go back to 40d16, because it's a known bug with that particular version. http://www.bay12games.com/forum/index.php?topic=44829.msg1014460#msg1014460

You can fix it in 40d17 just by editing the interface.txt file... just set TRAP_FLOOR_BARS to capital-F instead of small-b.
