Adventurer mode: Crashes after death, no escape possible

After dying, I pressed escape to finish. It asked whether I was sure. I answered no, and returned to the game. Then tried to escape again, and it crashed. From that time to this, several adventurers in a row, every time I die I cannot press escape to finish without it crashing.

Hope someone hasn't already had this problem. I searched, but you can never be sure...

This is a known bug in one of the 40d# versions.  It may be fixed in 40d19, can't remember.  In any case, it's not a problem in the upcoming release, which is due out in a couple days.

Nice to know. I'm actually playing 40d19, which is where the bug occurred - so hopefully it'll be fixed in the next few days.
