Select shop type when building
« on: April 08, 2007, 11:02:00 pm »

The shop option in the build menu really should go to a menu letting you choose what type of shop to build. It sucks having to build four times as many shops as is actually necessary just to make sure there are enough clothing shops to go around.

FYI he's refering to the shops made by the economy.

I also agree with the idea, because if you could designate shop types, you could setup clothing shops which are close to your residential areas, and then setup crafts shops inbetween the residences and workshops /stockpiles.

DEAR LORD PLEASE ADD THIS PLEASE. My clothing shops all got clogged with a bunch of gloves no one needs, meanwhile there are no shirts or trousers for sale and everyone's clothes are rotting off. I tried building some more shops to help alleviate the problem and 8 out of 10 new shops so far have been useless exotic clothing shops.

Personally I'd like to see a customizble economy. Rather than 'on and off' once the economy starts you could select from various options that would determines its behavior. If you wanted, you could remain a commune.
