I very rarely donate to anything BOO! HISS! because I'm rarely at the front line of such things[0] but my experience with DF started during a period of technical unemployment[1] and being offline at home, so the game and the forums have been particularly distracting to me and a comfort during a time I have been unable to MUD and browse Usenet and all the other stuff I used to do...

So I think putting myself down for the finances-dependent option is an honest response, if a little open-ended.

• I donated towards the Troll Bridge project, but that was a couple of email addresses ago, so not sure what the state of play currently is with that...  Thanks for jogging my memory!
[1] It's complicated, including voluntary positions and low-wage placements and in the last two weeks I've actually left one place of voluntary work to attend this one, and am leaving this one for one of less hours but more relevance, so I'm not even sure if I'm going to have the same forum access as of Monday, but should be able to swing something...
