Hey folks. As you may have seen in my signature, I've been involved in this for some time. The information is pretty well summed up in the copy-pasta advertisement below. Why don't you take a look? We're looking for developers.

Apokalypsos - A Post Apocalyptic MMORPG
Brief Description:
Apokalypsos has been in pre-production since early 2008, starting initially as an Auto Assault resurrection project evolving into an original and full-fledged title inspired by games like Wasteland, Interstate 76/82, Fallout 1/2 and STALKER.

Technology:
We're using the latest Torque 3D engine which requires C++ and SQL skills.
Target aim:
Short term goal: develop a proof of concept with a fully functional online environment and basic set of features.
Long term goal: pitch project to possible publishers and investors or open project to community as freeware.
Compensation:
Currently the project is 100% community driven, with volunteer contributions and donated development platform.
Talent needed:
As an indie project, we're looking for self-motivated, mature and committed individuals for the following roles:
 * Lead Programmers
 * C++ Programmers
 * Graphic Programmer
 * Network Developer
 * Concept Artists
 * 2D/3D Artists
 * Script & Level Designers

I guess... good luck, but without anything to play, this looks like little more than a big design document and a pile of nice concept art.  I know that's pretty much unavoidable when designing something as preposterously enormous as an MMOG, but it's still vaporware.  Indie projects seem to fade away unless there is something to fiddle with and get new people interested.

Oh, it's hardly at release. But there is a trac hiding out there that's busy like a beehive with work on the game.

Sounds cool and fun. Always up for something cool and fun. Although I still haven't gotten a chance to program much, due to outside interference with my loosely planned schedual... Even then I doubt I'd get good enough to jump onto this any time soon.
