Cross platform succession

Sorry if this has been asked before - I've searched and can't find an answer...

Can a succession game be played cross-platform? There's a few of us at my workplace looking at starting a succession game, and a couple of folks have Mac.  Can the latest version Mac handle the savegame data from latest version PC and vice-versa?

Saves should be fully 'ompatible, yes.

Do mind that some things (Mayday's pack) have savebreaking mods. In that case, catmouth fix and...economic stone?
