The constantly flickering FPS meter annoys me. Please average it over a few frames.

Oh yes, please. Or only update it once a second or so, or something. The flickering between 99 and 100 was so bad that I had to turn it off.

Agreed. Average it out, a bit. It really is annoying when I'm trying to figure out what's happening, but can't seem to pull my focus from the insanely flickering numbers in the corner.

For now you could just cap the FPS at 99.

Personally I'd like to have a button added you can use to toggle the FPS display on and off rather than having to quit, disable, and reload.
