Torture the open door while the door guardian ogre looks on in horror.

Charge at ogre and attack it in its weakest place (probably eyes at the moment), damaging it slightly.
Repeat millions of times until it finally dies, possibly under the strain of punching you millions of times.

That won't work, as we have to run, punch, and respawn. It just has to punch...

Yes, but every time we respawn we are fresh. Eventually it will tire.

The Ogre takes the flask, takes a drink, then punches you in the face.

You untie the sheets from around your neck and tie them to them bed, then hang them out the window.
You call the Ogre a big fat ugly guy and run for it, your plan works perfectly and the Ogre flies out the window, you pull yourself back in.

the next room looks a lot like the last one, except that the Ogre is MUCH MUCH bigger, he couldn't fit through the doorway he's guarding, on the pedestal this time is a lighter.

Discuss the weather, discuss the troubles of the modern world, discuss the difficulties of being a single parent trapped in a small room, tell the ogre that its door need to experience the world first hand and have people walk through it from time to time, or else it will be completely unprepared for a career as a door to the whitehouse someday....
