some walls survive cave-ins
« on: November 18, 2007, 03:15:00 pm »

could walls and floors made of some materials like blocks or metal not disintegrate when caving in but fall down intact much like natural stone does in the current version.

this could be used to sink a pillar into the ocean or put a wall in a inaccessible areas,  for example after hitting the side of a aquifer and flooding the fort you could drop a copper wall from above and seal off any part of the tunnel.

Indeed.

Tho maybe limit it to metal and wood, and probably just the top level surviving the fall. Well, maybe stone blocks, too, if the drop isn't very far.
