Are you using a compact keyboard(common on laptops)? If so, you  may need to hold down the function [fn] as well.

I'm using a PC, but my keyboard is fairly small. Also, I've tried pressing alt+fn+prtsc to no effect.

On my laptop, fn+printscr prints the whole screen. You have to clip the edges if you aren't using full screen, but it's more than doable.

1st Tombs needs to be your cannon fodder division. Mod gold to have it be weaponizable and make swordsdwarves with gold swords.

I have a squad of crossbowdwarves training up that's named 'The Bolts of Counselling'.

I picture it kinda like this: "Want some advice? Scram!" *machineguncrossbow*
