Community Fortress Question

OK, so I'd like to start a community fortress.
I've already got a good bit of story and some screenshots sitting in a word doc, but I don't really know what the best way to get the images into the forum would be. Could I get some help in this regard?

Upload them somewhere, say Photobucket or Imageshack or Tinypic, then use the image tags <img>url</img> (except with [ and ] instead of < and > ).
