Fortunately, I already have at least an AS Degree in Graphic Design (which the skill is still idle thanks to still not finding any relevant work). Any future college courses I would be taking this year (provided I can afford it) would be anything that would catch my interest, and further any other parts of my skill I'm interested in. Like 3d-animation for example. But seeing as I couldn't afford any Spring classes, I might have already missed the opportunity.
It is entertaining watching my sister deal with the rest of her school year again. But then again, it's traditional for those around the house that don't need to go to gloat "La, la, la, la, la... SCHOOL TOMORROW!!!". It's mean, but everyone's been hit with it some time or another. Kinda sad this might be the last time it'll be done though.
I'm also starting tomorrow. Hopefully my classmates won't all be derptards like last quarter. Last quarter an impressively large woman announced on the first day of psychology that she believed God picked and chose who went to heaven and who went to hell before He created them, completely taking that whole "Try to bring others to God and pray for forgiveness" thing out of the picture.
Another guy's vocabulary consisted of "like," "uh," "totally," and a smattering of a few other, less important words.
Here's to hoping there are some cool people this time.
Those kind of people bother me too; but more because they tarnish the real meaning of being religious, and actively deny it when you challenge them.
All I can say is, I wouldn't count on better classmates coming anytime soon. Then again, that's been the story of my past courses. Usually the writing courses. Ugh, I can get a point across in an answer, and read aloud quicker and cleaner than everyone else. Odd thing is, I'm usually the shy one in these kinds of classes, and I do better; and I'm usually groggy from it being a morning class, and I, not a morning person. What gives?
