Any suggestions as to what I should do with my newly-caught megabeast?

Unleash it upon your enemies, of course! Or make awesome items out of it's various body parts.

Put it in a pit with all of the nobles of your fort.

Or, alternatively, add magma to that equation.

OR, trap him in an obsidian farm, so that he gets encased in obsidian and you can harvest his bones and stuff.

Go the carbonite approach. Kill it by trapping it in obsidian and leaving it there as a warning other would-be monsters.

Or wait until you get a second titan of the opposite gender (if there are any) and add tags that allow them to breed. Then, if it is possible, add the tags to their raws that allow you to train war animals. Give your military champions some War Titan bodyguards.

I vote for having your DM train it and unleashing it upon your hapless foes.

Are you sure they can't be modded to do so? I remember a thread where someone had a breeding pair of dragons and they were trying to get it to work after adding some tags to their raws. Not sure if they were successful.

That or you can train up your new recruits in marksdwarfship through some fortifications. They'll probably be elite before he dies! Or you can injure him pretty badly and then call off your marksdwarfs to see if he'll heal. If he does, then you have a big training dummy for your archers! :D

Yeah, they will breed. I don't think it requires a regen, either, but I might be wrong.

Of course, you could always take the Nist Akath approach and hack it to be a official member of your civ.

I tried dropping it in the barracks, via pit.

That sort of backfired. It broke loose, chased down and killed the philosopher, and was taken down by the military I'd scrambled to dispose of it.

Elves do it in trees. Humans do it in wooden structures. Dwarves? Dwarves do it underground. With magma.

Put the titan cage in the middle of your dining room or meeting hall with a stockpile (don't build it just animal stockpile) then sell your Titan Cage to the next group of traders to come along.

...

Trust me, it will be 'fun'.

I use megabeasts to dispose of the plethora of goblins that wander into my cage traps. One titan/dragon/hydra/whatever against thirty or forty goblins in an arena and you've got the makings of a bloodbath that would more than appease Armok.

There are three things I know about dwarves:
1. They've got beards. Even the women.
2. They're short. Especially the women.
3. They're Scottish.

I dunno. If the arena's large enough that they engage singly, sure, but if that titan gets dogpiled by those goblins he'll probably get exhausted and pass out, or get shanked by a lucky gobbo thief.

Or shot in the face.

The arena approach would be more feasible with a bronze colossus, the titan is pretty much a weak colossus (I know he has no [SEVERONBREAKS], but if you are a lonely megabeast and you get a broken arm you are unlikely to heal it anyway).
