I've never intentionally tried to (S)earch the area carefully while underwater - maybe that's the reason I've never duplicated the catfish catch thing.

I tried doing the reverse (catching land vermin and water-drowning them) but as it turns out, just like flies, worms and roaches are immune to drowning. And probably magma.

I've never caught a fluffy wambler, so I can't test it with them. Also I don't know if they're actually vermin. :-\

I killed a priest with a live fluffy wambler.I found a whole bunch of them in caves so you might wanna search there if you haven't already?
