Has anyone read "american gods", and is it as good as I've been told?

I have and I've found it to be very good. You'll find it good as well if you like anything else Neil Gaiman wrote. If you don't know what's Gaiman all about: He writes about Alices in Wonerlands, only his Alice is usually a world weary and/or disilussioned everyman, and the Rabbit in the Hole usually has sharp fangs and a hidden agenda.

Finished "The Gospel of Evil" (Meh. But then I expected it. Da Vinci Code//Exorcist hybrid. It CANT be good if both parents are bad).

Havent started a new one yet. Will proll do R. Silverberg's "Roma Eterna".
