[40d16] Elf Traders went for a stroll while still trading [Resolved]

Using Mayday DFG21, ported save from DFG16.

The elf traders, while not yet departed, went for a stroll around my water pit, and are now back around the depot. They embarked normally, taking their stuff with them.

Is this a bug or a feature?

Traders will flee away from any hostile units if approached. Once the threat has gone or has otherwise been eliminated, they will return their camels to the depot.

They were inside of my fortress, there were no threats whatsoever.

Not even captured goblin soldiers being hauled from one cage to another? Or creatures hiding deep within a chasm?

Hmm, I'm unsure whether there were caged goblins. I'd deconstructed the cage traps some years ago, but I know I waited a long while before burning them in the magma pit. Let's go with hauled goblins then.
