Looking for a free OFFLINE dictionary/thesaurus

Title.

Basically, when I have my laptop, I don't always have internet access. I regularly use dictionary.reference.com when I'm writing essays for school or even short stories for fun.

Does anyone know of a decent, FREE dictionary that I can download and use offline?

I use WordWeb, but there's probably better out there.
