A Crimson King and 2041 dead Elves.
« on: December 15, 2009, 01:05:41 pm »

This is the story of veno borejewels the Crimson king (I was playing with my dark tower mod i'll release if anybody wants) who lived a lonely and death filled life. The story begins when at the tender age of 9 he killed Rithod the Savage of Frenzy a bronze colossus after that his life descended into death and gore. He was left alone until 46 when he started to get periotical seiges from elves and from that year until 113 he fought siege after siege eventually falling sway to the seiges and dying and all of this because of the treatment of plants. He, in total killed and ate 2041 elves and a bronze colossus. In part I wanted to show veno's awesome story but also wanted to know your awesome and cool stories from modded creatures and civs so please I entertained you why wont you entartain me?

p.s the seed.

The elf kill count reminds me of Tholtig.

Also, from Avernum Mod:

Given that the most subtle of mods will influence world gen immensely, I recommend releasing the mod, else we won't be able to actually generate veno.

I had this exact problem when generating Tholtig (whose story you can read in my sig if you're looking for stories) - even something as simple as a megabeast or a change in a language file can completely change the course of history.

Holy schnikes! In the halls of the Crimson King indeed.
Now look in the legends and root out more of his story; you may have yourself a true legend.

I don't know if this counts, but I modded in a race of creatures that refused to show up. All my dwarves could see them, it's just that the colours weren't working right, so I couldn't. All I got was my dwarves leaping about the place, causing 2 symbols and splashes of ochre to appear around them. It was amusing to watch, but confusing until I bothered to do a "q" on all of them.

I agree with Urist. Steampunk is like Darth Vader winning Holland's Next Top Model. It would be awesome but not something I'd like in this game.
Unfortunately dying involves the amputation of the entire body from the dwarf.
