I have never tried with cutting raw clear glass. I have always just payed extra for bars of it from the caravan, so I wouldn't know of any bugs concerning it.

For green glass metals, they are just supposed to lighten the metal. By replacing some of the metal with green glass, you can lighten the metal, without loseing too much to be usefull.

I am thinking of creating a new reaction to extend the use of metals. I just have not thought of just how to balance it well. Possibly having 2 bars of green glass with 1 bar of metal making 3 bars of glass metal and with 3 bars of green glass making 5 bars of metal, but I wouldn't know just how balanced this all would be. I might have to make a different metal then the one I already have in place and make it weaker, or just use the one I have in place. Let me know what you think is more balanced.

Well, I found a workaround: you need to specify the 'cut raw clear glass' job from the manager screen, and it'll work there.

As to the green metal glass, I would think it all right if you kept the same stats, only decreased the value and increased the amount gained from the smelter reaction.  I think that's plenty fair and balanced.

I'm digging up this old thread because I found an error in the mod with respect to making the three types of glass glitter.  As stands, all three reactions are coded to make the green glass glitter.

The gems are defined thusly
