Yeah, he'd only get a week to form an opinion of it, and I can tell you that my opinion of DF after one week was a quizzical facial expression and a vague desire to kill the motherfucker who put so many interesting gameplay elements into such a sadistic package.

He might like the base idea and/or humor, but he'll end up quitting before he actually plays much.  He sort of does the same with any game with a long learning curve.  He'll call it about 7 or 8 different words for boring and then insult the 'slew of nerds' who love it, so forth and so on.

Yahtzee tries to cover it up with "Games are art" alot of the time, but when it comes down to it, he's pretty much a casual player.  How many times has he actually beaten a game before writing a review?  Admittedly, he gets a week or so for it, but most of the games he reviews can be completed in 2 or 3 several-hour-long sessions.
