I think throwing "lighter" objects should do "considerably" less damage

Yes.

Funnily enough, this is the logical stance.

O RLY?

;D

edit: Yeah, throwing is kind of overpowered right now, but that makes it all the more fun. All the little goblins/humans/elfs get their deadly bows and crossbows... we get rocks and vermin... and because of this everyone is happy dead

It's even more fun to throw sand. I can only assume it works by chafing your target to death.

It's amazing how dwarves can make a stack of bones completely waterproof and magmaproof.
It's amazing how they can make an entire floodgate out of the bones of 2 cats.

Throwing power

Weight/number vs damage type
damage types
piercing rocks
slashing is fun
Bludgeon is everywere not not as fun as there other 2.

weapons(piercing or slashing damage only)
bolts/arrows
items you can wear(no Weight or back pack space with skill)
sand,rock,vomit...

but stuff that stays in there body is better as to can twist it.
bruning stuff that sicks is the best as it can set there clothing on fire ;D

Gore damage is ridiculously way too overpowered, umm...

burn and ice are sicknasty, as is heat damage.  Heat sets stuff on fire on crits!

I imagine the new update will probably address throwing concerns... sadly.

Reasonableman sighs wistfully.

Still, makes me wonder if strength will be the only determining factor; what about the leverage provided by arm length? So many interesting possibilities.

Also, item material.

If I throw a steel helmet at someone, do they end up any more dead than if I threw an iron helmet?
