[40d] Bowyer's workshop trapped my worker

Been playing this game for a couple of weeks and have been thoroughly addicted so far, but I had a rather odd occurance just now.

"Woody woodworker has starved to death", and I haven't had any moody dwarves in months. So I hunt around my fort looking for the corpse, and where do I find it? In a room with a bowyer's workshop. The room is as so:

=+***=
======

= being wall
+ floor
and * being the bowyer's workshop. He was stuck in the top right corner (X) and I hadn't even noticed until the game told me he'd starved to death. :S I've never had this problem with a workshop before and I couldn't find another thread on this.

Workshops have passable and unpassable tiles. For a Bowyer's Workshop, the unpassable tiles all happen to be on the left. So the room would actually act like this :

++|**=
=+|**=
======

With | being the unpassable tiles

Yes, when you build the workshop, dark tiles = unpassable, so consider the exits properly.

Ahh, bugger. Thanks for the help. I had a  bad feeling that might be the case.

When in doubt, try the Gameplay Questions forum. They'll let you know if you need to submit it to bugs or if it's normal.
