Yeh but i cant take it upon myself to knowenly spout nonsense.

And i thought about defining anime, but i know so much about it it might become an anime essay....Plus it's a macroeconomic class so talking about how anime is made up of exagerated faces and art forms is like taking a puzzle peice from one puzzle, soaking it in water, and smashing it into that hole on another puzzle peice until it fits.

That's what writing an essay about Economics is at the level I am at is.  I suspect you are there too.

I say you lie good sir, for one anime in the sea of thousands would be at best 250 billion (i exaggerated this greatly), and cars are one of their strongest exports.

Describe more stuff about how anime fits into the Japanese economic culture, and about how Japan isn't the only nation that produces it, and some mention of the economic future.  I can literally write five pages in my sleep.

And I'm pretty sure Neonivek was joking about sources.

I found out recently that Britain used to be the third biggest producer of video games in the world (you can probably guess the top two).  I found that pretty surprising, as well as the news that video game production here apparently makes more money than music and film (don't think it's more than both combined, though).

For now, we remain a "net exporter" of entertainment (a phrase I've always found rather weird, but nevermind).

As for Japan... well... anime would be quite a big area of their entertainment industry (maybe the biggest televisial one?) so I imagine it would have some affect on their GDP.

Off topic I know but Britain also has a very good industry reputation for it's development studios. Not that you'd know that from any actual evidence on the packaging of the games. Don't ya love publishers.

Well judge for yourself
All I need know is that the video was on YouTube.  Seriously, just the other day my physics teacher showed us a YouTube video some crazy lady posted going on about how some "strange stuff" must have been "oozing into the water," her reason for believing this being that a sprinkler in the sunshine was casting a rainbow.  As if that's not enough, she somehow leaps across galaxies to the conclusion that people have to "raise their voices" now because the government will supposedly take away our human rights.

Have I proven my point?  I don't have a link handy, but I can probably find the video.

Believe nothing you see on YouTube, unless it's a person talking about their own affairs.

There's some guys on YouTube demonstrating how putting Mentos in Diet Coke makes fizzy fountains.

The Internet isn't a great source of factual information no, but that doesn't mean everything you see is wrong.

Yes, but if you only found it by browsing YouTube, it should be treated with caution.  Much better would be a link to the site that uses YouTube as a video host rather than linking to YouTube.

Alright seeing as people arn't checking for some odd reason.

I was joking. The video DOES however say that Sailor moon does earn more then Automobiles and food in Japan... but the video is a parody of an even OLDER Sales pitch to get Sailormoon to America. It is pretty funny especially when you seen the original video and watched Sailormoon before.
