There's also Translation Party. Sometimes it also excels at mangling a sentence beyond recognition. Frequently into the exact opposite of the phrase.

Edit: Also, I remembered a real-life one. Once on a gas station, I noticed a sticker advert from some guy selling some stuff. The guy's russian grammar was alright, but he somehow managed to mistype the brand names of things he was selling. Among things he was selling were: A Wed-camera (for online weddings, I presume), an HP Potosmart printer (with a special addon for printing on pottery), and the best device in the group, a SONY Cidershot camera. Yes, Cidershot. I don't know HOW he managed to type it like that. I suppose it either runs on cider, or it works like an advanced version of beer goggles.

My dad was reading a book on boating by some guy, and he was mentioning this one brand of Scandinavian paint which he really liked.  Gotten paint.

He referenced it several times, and even provided a website URL, 'Gotten.com' (or similar).


He was, of course, referring to Jotun paints.  Jotun, as in the giants of Norse mythology?

I still have no idea how he managed to get that wrong.  I mean, it's even pronounced YO-tun.  Nothing to do with Gotten.
