Building Destroyers meet Animal Cages

If I build an animal cage in the path of a class 2 building destroyer, will the monster stop to destroy the cage, and then stop again to fight the animal that was inside?

ooohh... Good question. I think it will, but only if the cage is actually built rather than in the stockpiles. Sounds like a very good anti-building-destroyer tactic.

I agree with Urist. Steampunk is like Darth Vader winning Holland's Next Top Model. It would be awesome but not something I'd like in this game.

I suspect that "destroying" the built cage will simply result in unbuilding the cage -- thus, you'll be left with a cage item on the ground, containing the creature you wanted the building destroyer to fight. But I could easily be wrong; this is the kind of thing that should be tested.
