If you use the z stocks menu for stones the computer hangs while locating every single last rock.

The Raven has been knocked unconcious!

Elves do it in trees. Humans do it in wooden structures. Dwarves? Dwarves do it underground. With magma.

Yeah, but a second or two on the stocks menu won't hurt your FPS elsewhere, will it?

That leads to another question I've been meaning to ask:  Do higher precision stockpile record generate lag?

I mean that the stocks menu on a larger fort will lock your entire computer up for minutes as it finds the rocks.
