Well my first succesful fortress is in ruins getting bored from having 60+ children,no seiges and no magma I decide to collapse the roof of my only meeting place killing many lazy fucks and children. My high general and general are fine and many of my important dwarves are alive (including military) I thought things were going to get better. None the less a minute and a half after i do the deed I get my first seige. Now im stuck there looking at the screen like some asshole and feeling sorry for my self.

And as expected my general and high general killed the whole entire 15 human  seige by them self with no problem and completly estatic while the other champions were mopping around that there children fell down a 20z stair case or was crushed. None the less out of a twist of fate the dwarf who collaspsed the roof was depressed that he killed 3 dwarves and 2 polar bears before being beaten to a vegetable state by who was the fortress gaurd leader and a hunter and the expidition leader who after doing his deed was stricken with melachony and jumped down the stairs into the paste which was his son. I do not regret doing this.

How to recover your dwarves' lost joie de vivre?

Waterfall mist-makers in the dining room. If engineered right, they don't flood it. (If engineered extra right, they do flood it, but only when the correct lever is pulled.)
