Alright, if you don't know the problem immediately don't worry you can leave the topic there is no obligation to stay. This topic is mostly hoping people who immediately know the problem (or who don't mind searching a bit) can say so. Also I am still searching google, so I am not hoisting responsibility on the forum.
Anyhow after an update last night my computer (which is a Vista... yeah I have no control over that) has suddenly had odd problems
It works fine, starts up fine, and runs most programs fine.
However when recieving messages on MSN and playing certain games it becomes laggy and the music is extremely garbled and disjointed. It affects the gameplay and it affects
-It also won't do Youtube videos well either. I think my videocard broke.
What is happening? how do I fix it?
Also McAfee sucks... I KNOW I must have spyware but all McAfee finds is a program I am fully aware of (Gamespy Arcade), it also uses a lot of power and cannot be shutdown. I wish I could find out what Processes are needed and which are actually sucking up CPU.
-Id get Rid of McAfee, because it is really bad, but unfortunately I am obligated to use it.
--I like Adaware but too many spyware and viruses have learned to disable it.
Edit Addition: WHAT THE HECK IS THIS!?! What is svchost for? I have tons of them and some use over 100k of Memory. Ok I found out... I can't do anything about that.
Edit addition: Hillariously, in Vista's own style of (WE SUCK!), it disabled my downloaded Anti-spyware and it can't update because the security won't allow it.
