The Scamps question: What has science done?

Question.

Is Scamps part bobcat?

This is something my brother pointed out to me that it would make sense, and he claimed a friend which I had met also had part bobcat pets... So is he?

I thought this exact thing when I read that Scamps would get huge when he grew older.

I have a cat that's part bobcat, and his descendants are little less (as expected with genetics); but anyway, with the elder of that family, he's a reasonably large cat, as well as his immediate son. They grow rather quickly, and have a more bear-like form to their face and body. But then again, he's also part-wild, and the rest of his family are mostly outdoor cats.

I didn't really see that in Scamps though, with the few pics I have seen of him. What kind of breed is he?

I have alot of wild animals around here. I've seen two or three bobcats, and we have a pack (12-16) of coyotes around. My uncle troy had a dog that was half coyote. He was an awesome dog.

If Scamps is gonna get very big, i'd guess he's either part Bobcat or a Maine Coon. If he's just going to get fairly big the he could be a number of different breeds (like Australian Mist).
