Can't get game to show up!

I don't know what the problem is, but I recently re-downloaded the game and started it up...Except nothing shows up! The screen pops up, I can hear the music in the back. If I hammer buttons it's obvious that it's flipping through menus. But for some reason nothing shows up. Can anyone help :<

Did you download regular 40d or 40d16?

Downloaded 40d16, that one works fine

i have this same problem, but i tried running 40d16, still didn't work, could this be due to my graphics driver or something like that?

Yes, it definitely could be due to your graphics drivers.  Make sure they're up to date.  Also, make sure you try tweaking the print mode in 40d16, and DON'T copy your init file across versions.
