Haha yes, this one situation comes to mind.

There was this one family who immigrated to my fort. Five family members. Between the father and the son, they adopted about seven cats and kittens.

About the time that the kids had all grown up, I was going on a cat-purging crusade. I systematically executed all the stray cats by dumping them into my magma pipe.

Then, I get to the pet cats. I discovered that all of the cats were owned by members of that family. Since they were all useless haulers, they were very expendable.

I drafted the entire family, and stationed them at the bottom of my dungeon master's tower, then one by one, stationed them on the bridge at the top, and retracted the bridge so that they would fall right in the middle of their family.

After I summarily executed three of them, one of the remaining children went berserk and was taken down by crossbows. The last child went melancholy, climbed to the top of the tower, and threw herself off, right where the rest of her family had plunged to their deaths.

Then I was able to dispose of the seven cats in the magma. Bahaha.

Interestingly, Armok's name actually originates from arm_ok, a variable in one of Toady's earlier games that kept track of how many of your arms weren't missing.

Wait... does that quern thing actually WORK? I mean, if YOU used it, would it poison your dwarven food?

Food poisoning is not in..Yet, if it would be, I'd be selling lead barrels and goblets to elves, and trading them pitchblende crafts. Still not sure if the lead is worth it though, maybe if food poisoning is in as well as having the worldgen elves that drink from it actually get sick/die..

I once decided to have a child deconstruct a tile above the magma pipe, while he was standing on another that was only connected by the one he removed.

What kind of statues are your masons making, that you think they have "maximum exposure"?
(Full frontal ones, apparently.  With very short beards.)

1. Set a caged goblin next to your quern.
2. Attach said cage to a lever.
3. Station a military dwarf next to the cage and quern.
4. Pull lever to paint quern red.

It already is: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cinnabar

Not as cruel, I hear, as someone who built their fortress in the tundra, and executed goblins by throwing them, after stripping them of armor and weapons, into a one-tile pit made of ice, with a weapon trap that had a single no quality copper whip in it, thus allowing the goblins to freeze while being slowly whipped to death by the weakest weapon in the game.

Sadly, no, But I like to pretend it does.

A tendon in the skull has been torn!
The Raven has been knocked unconcious!

Elves do it in trees. Humans do it in wooden structures. Dwarves? Dwarves do it underground. With magma.

I stationed a drafted peasant in my execution chamber, and timed it just right so only 1/7 magma got in. Somehow, he failed to die despite his melted feet, so I added water.

Just goblin torture and noble elimination for me. (I skewered a Count just in case his mandate for a large gem wasn't met, while the mandate text was still brown. Then I felt guilty for two seconds, and sniggered).

As you wish. Linksky. Not sure which the Slapchop is, but I assume it's the proposed method for dealing with POWs. For myself, my meanest act to date would definitely have to be my method of disposing of POWs. Drop them down a hole into a military training area, where they get smashed into small pieces by my axe/sword/hammerdwarves.
