Elevated to Matyr?  After the fact?  Who decides that?  How would that 'click' with the American populace?

Sure, you have that chick in Iran who died on video...  what happened to the internets rally behind that?  Nothing.
Then you have the twin towers.  Now that has a symbol, something to get behind.   It hit home. 
The military base?  If it hasn't hit home already, it won't later.  Thats my speculation on it.


As for this guy... who knows what most of the moderate muslims think of him.  It varies and most probably don't give a shit about him?  Maybe they do?  Maybe they want to see him dead.
