Geocities, Megabeast, has died of old age

I had heard that Geocities was closing for quite some time, but it seems that they're actually going to go through with it. I can't be bothered to find a source, but just check xkcd.

The theme will likely last for today only, so this post will look quite odd when it's all back to normal. I found it hilarious. The theme, not the comic. The comic was amusing too, though.

The xkcd tribute is hilarious. There's plenty of extra hidden gems if you look at the source as well. There's a few missing essentials though:
No embedded midi
No popups
No spinning skull
No comet cursor
No broken image links to paths beginning with C:\
