The Most Dwarven Sport

Forget goblinball, I've found a sport much more dwarven, and it's one that really exists, too. Anvil launching is the practice of, well, launching an anvil hundreds of feet into the air with gunpowder.

If only toady would ever change his mind and decide to introduce gunpowder...

I once thought that gunpowder has no need to be added to Dwarf Fortress. I now know I was wrong.

Of course, competitive Anvil Blasting would involve teams of dwarves consisting at the very least of a Toter, a Loader, and a Lighter, and a elf or goblin tied up on a big "X".

a slight modification of a true sport but...
the hamercrack
any dwarf can crack a block of granite with a twenty pound hamer.
but can you throw it?
how far?
how drunk?
and the only rule on the hammer is twenty pounds it can be an shape you please....but you only get one so if it breaks you lose.
