ideas for a fort layout

i need some ideas for a fort layout. i have a basic idea of how to build my beds and farms. but i need an idea of how to build a Defense part of my base. my base right now is doing good. i just got done building a big hole for water. and its pretty awesome cause the way the water gets in is through a penis. but i might need to restart and i need some help with an idea for a defense spot. like how to build my walls and stuff like that. oh i also have lots of obsidian and a magma pipe. so if u can send me some ideas that would be awesome thanks.

I think the water going in is in reverse but if youw anted to continue the trend you could build a magma tower shaped like a posterior. You can also add refuse dumps around it for the general miasma.

ok well thanks for the help. i have to restart my base though i just got attacked by a dragon. and he burnt all my dwarfs...
